Attraction Hotels In Fort Lauderdale

An electric bus will be helping passengers get from DIA to hotels along nearby Tower Road starting Sept. 1.

The Ebus, as it's called, can go 155 miles on a single charge with only three to four hours of charging time. It'll be unveiled on Wednesday by a group of private and city leaders. The goal is to have an all-electric fleet over time picking up passengers from five hotels in that area. They'll start with the one electric for now. The hotels are calling this the "Airport Green District," and they've committed $3 million a year to run the bus fleet.
